Interactive Storytelling

Our author’s interactive reading of ‘Voyage to Planet Dream’ promotes literacy by engaging children in the story and enabling them to discuss aspects of the book and its magical illustrations.

Games, props and songs linked to the themes of the book add an extra sprinkling of fun!

We can include sign-along if you have children in your group who would find it helpful.

Activities & Crafts

All activities and crafts are linked to the themes and ideas that arise from the story - e.g. space, stars, dreams, magic etc… Crafts are given a seasonal twist and are tailored to the age and size of the group.

We can also shape the visit to tie in with aspects of your school curriculum if you wish.

All materials & resources are supplied by The Story Yard.

Book Shop

Copies of ‘Voyage to Planet Dream’ are made available to pre-order and are delivered free of charge on the day of the event.

Book signing is always an option for those who’d like a personalised message from the author.

Books can also be bought on the day from the author or afterwards from our on-line shop.

Made to Measure

We can tailor an event to suit any group size in your venue. We work with small groups, whole classes and whole year groups.

Events are best suited to pre-schoolers (aged 3-5) and Primary School Pupils in P1-2.
